Meryl Macklin
Meryl Macklin is a trial lawyer and mediator with more than 40 years of experience handling complex business disputes. For the past two decades, her practice has focused on M&A and corporate governance matters, including indemnity claims, breaches of representations and warranties, pre-closing disputes, insurance claims, purchase price adjustments, earnouts, and shareholder disputes. She works closely with deal lawyers on dispute resolution and agreement language and co-leads BCLP’s M&A Disputes practice. Known for pragmatic, targeted litigation strategies, she emphasizes efficient resolution. Meryl serves on the Northern District of California Mediation Panel and completed training at the Harvard Negotiation Project.
Dhara Patel
CPA, CFF, ABV
Dhara Patel is a Managing Director at Ankura with over ten years of experience in litigation and dispute consulting, forensic accounting, and investigations. She specializes in purchase price disputes, quantifying damages and calculating lost profits in litigation matters, valuations, as well as accounting and fraud investigations. Dhara’s experience encompasses a broad range of industries, including financial services, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, agriculture, real estate, oil and gas, and hospitality. Additionally, she is a member of the AICPA’s Forensic and Litigation Services Committee.
Frank Previti
Experience & Education Undergraduate degree with a concentration in accounting -Washington & Lee University. Accredited in Certified Financial Forensics (CFF) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Accredited in Certified Fraud Examination (CFE) by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Professional Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Member of the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants (RISCPA). Member of the AICPA’s Forensic and Valuation Services section. Member of both the national and local chapters of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
John Tira

Nathan Dean
CPA, CFF, ABV
Nathan Dean is a forensic accountant who focuses on understanding companies and their internal and external records, including financial and non-financial records. He has over a decade of experience in accounting, business, and dispute advisory where he has assisted management, counsel, and shareholders across multiple industries and matter types.
